April Jones Rogers

April Jones Rogers 47, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at Noon Tuesday November 6, 2018 in Rochester.

She was born on June 5, 1971 in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of Mark and Cindy (Goble) Jones. On October 2, 2015 in Rochester, Indiana, she married Corey Rogers and he survives.

April had worked for Wal- Mart for over twelve years serving as manager of the toy department and merchandiser for Wal-Marts in the Eastern United States. She had also worked for Head Start in Akron, Indiana and currently was a massage therapist that owned her own business, Creative Balance, operating within Total Body Works Day Spa, Rochester. In her free time she enjoyed kayaking, gardening and surprising people with gifts. April gave of herself constantly and loved to brighten someone’s day.

Survivors include her husband, Corey Rogers, Rochester, Indiana, sons, Nick Reynolds, Warsaw, Indiana, Cody and wife Sarah Reynolds, Akron, Indiana, grandchildren, Kinley Grace Reynolds and Averie Reynolds, both of Akron, Indiana, father, Mark Jones, Rochester, Indiana, mother, Cindy Elmore, Floyds Knobs, Indiana, brothers, Kent Jones, Upton, Kentucky, Jaxon Jones, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jodie Jones, Indianapolis, Indiana, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Reynolds and her grandparents.

A service in her memory will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Saturday November 10, 2018 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Athens Cemetery, Athens, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Head Start. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros.
