Virginia L. Scott, 87, Warsaw, and formerly of Rochester, passed away peacefully at 7:30 P.M. Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.

She was born February 3, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to Milo and Esther Hair.  On June 29, 1946, she married the love of her life, Eugene "Scotty" Scott.  He preceded her in death on November 28, 2002.

Virginia spent many wonderful evenings on the dance floor with Scotty. While she enjoyed dressing up and socializing, she could roof a house with the best of them, often helping to build their early homes. Virginia was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, and watching live theater, especially when her grandson was performing.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kevin (and spouse Lynnette) Scott, Warsaw, Indiana, Doug (and spouse Ellen) Scott, Rochester, Indiana, one granddaughter, Stephanie Rensberger (and spouse Rich), Kewanna, Indiana, three grandsons, Skye Scott, New York City, Steven Scott, Rochester, Indiana and Bryce Scott, Louisville Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Hair, Jim Hair and Claude Hair.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana, with services following at 7:00 p.m.  A private internment will be held at a later date at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, Indiana.
