Robert Emery, 82, Twelve Mile, Indiana, passed away at 9:50 P.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Memorial Hospital, Logansport, Indiana.

 He was born January 23, 1935 in Cass County, Indiana, son of the late Paul and Violet (Johnson) Emery. Bob was a very hard worker that loved his family. He loved bowling, fishing, lawn mower racing and antique tractors. He had a giving heart and would help anyone. He retired from the C&O Railroad and was a farmer.

 He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Emery, Twelve Mile, Indiana, two sons, Dale (Kim) Emery of Logansport, Indiana, Jerome (Jenni) Emery of Logansport, Indiana,  daughter, Julie (Robert) Schroder of Logansport, Indiana, sister, Paulletta Shafer of Twelve Mile, Indiana, four grandchildren, Lacey Emery, Drew Emery, Nathan Schroder and Neil Schroder, five Great Grandchildren, Braxton, Lillyn, Maxine, Parker and Carter; and other extended family Patty, Randy, Karee, Ronald, Richard, Rhonda and Rebecca.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 1, 2017 at the Fulton United Methodist Church, Fulton, Indiana. Friends may visit from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday February 28, 2017 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the church. Burial will take place at Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana.
