Raymond B. Krick, 78, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 6:25 P.M. Monday April 4, 2016 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

He was born on June 1, 1937 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Orville F. and Anna Irene (Eckerle) Krick.

Raymond was a professional musician who played the steel guitar and also spent 40 years working in the jewelry repair business. He attended Madison Street United Methodist Church, Muncie, Indiana, Grace United Methodist Church, Rochester, Indiana, was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and was a member of the Petal Steel Guitar Association. He enjoyed making steel guitars having custom made over thirty in his lifetime. Raymond also enjoyed his recording studio at his home and performing with different bands over the years at road shows, clubs and lodges.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelley Krick, St. Petersburg, Florida, foster-daughter, Kim Krick, Florida, three grandchildren, and his feline companion, Smokey. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Krick and his parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday April 8, 2016 at Tomlinson Cemetery, Muncie, Indiana. Friends may visit from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
