Nancy E. Luckenbill 78, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 11:02 A.M. Friday December 23, 2016 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana.

She was born on May 13, 1938 in Marshall County, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph A. and Kathryn (Hogue) Sissel.

Nancy retired from Wilson Foods Corporation in Logansport, Indiana after twenty years of service. After retirement, she owned and operated her own re-upholstery business, Upholstery Done Here. In her free time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed painting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as they were growing up, traveling, camping, horseback riding and enjoying the great outdoors.

Survivors include her children, Kathy and husband Norman Prater, Akron, Indiana, Michael K. Luckenbill, Logansport, Indiana, grandchildren, Eric and wife Joanne Prater, Loveland, Ohio, Greg Prater, Akron, Indiana, Austin Prater, Waterford, Connecticut, great grandchildren, Ethan and A.J. Prater, Loveland, Ohio, sister, Barbara and husband Carl Lowe, Macy, Indiana, brother, Tom and wife Sandy Sissel, Vermont. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick J. Luckenbill in 2011 and her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at Noon Wednesday December 28, 2016 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to Noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
