Kenneth R. Wilkinson 80, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 10:05 P.M. Friday January 5, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on September 30, 1937 in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Ralph and Bessie (Latchaw) Wilkinson. On October 13, 1957 in Logansport, Indiana, he married Lois Mae Linden and she survives.

Mr. Wilkinson had worked for Rochester Glass for almost fifty years and had also been a draftsman for Galbreath Inc. in Winamac, Indiana. For the past two years he had been a transport driver for Mike Anderson Chrysler Dodge Jeep. He had been a member of the Eagles Lodge and had attended the Rochester Church of the Nazarene. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, especially with his buddies, Brownie and Curly Elliott, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He felt he was the richest man in the world because of his family.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Wilkinson, Rochester, Indiana, children, Theresa Sue and husband Mike Gibbons, Rochester, Indiana, Bryan Richard and wife Dawn Wilkinson, Mexico, Indiana, grandchildren, Heather Nicole and husband Marcus Miller, Middleburg, Florida, Charles Michael and wife Kayla Gibbons, Rochester, Indiana, Jared Richard and wife Kayla Wilkinson, Vincennes, Indiana, Gabrielle Marie Wilkinson, Mexico, Indiana, Kenneth David Wilkinson, Mexico, Indiana, great granddaughters, Blaire Nicole Miller, Emily Grace Wilkinson, Aubri Lynn Wilkinson and Olivia Rae Gibbons, and one great grandson, Blake Miller, soon to arrive, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Donnabelle Miller, Miriam Michalski , Bonnie Purtee and brother, Robert J. “Bob” Wilkinson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 11, 2018 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday and one hour prior to service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
