Janet M. King 72, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 4:48 A.M. Thursday January 5, 2017 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

She was born on June 12, 1944 in Rochester, Indiana, the daughter of William W. and Evelyn (Johnson) King.

She had worked for many years at First National Bank, now Wells Fargo, in Rochester before retiring. She had attended the First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Rebekah’s Lodge. She enjoyed horses, cooking and reading.

Survivors include her sister, Carol Jean and husband Danny Oliver, Hamilton, Alabama, brother, William H. and wife Serita King, Bourbon, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Cora King, uncles, Don King and Robert King.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday January 8, 2017 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana, with Rev. Jerry Pittman officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
