Harold W. Reffitt 58, Macy, Indiana, passed away at 4:20 P.M. April 21, 2016 at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born on July 20, 1957 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, the son of Harold and Biddie (Bradley) Reffitt. On February 11, 2005 in Fulton, Indiana, he married Brenda (Stapleton) Bowen and she survives.

Mr. Reffitt had worked for Bellar Construction in Peru, Indiana for forty two years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Reffitt, Macy, Indiana, children, Ellen and husband Paul Slisher, Rochester, Indiana, Eric Bowen, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, David Schakel, Macy, Indiana, Tabatha Bowen, Rochester, Indiana, Quincy Pernatt, Rochester, Indiana, Mason Pernatt, Rochester, Indiana, parents, Harold and Biddie Reffitt, Rochester, Indiana, brother, Carl and wife Jill Reffitt, Peru, Indiana, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marcus Reffitt.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday April 27, 2016 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana, with Rev. George Hapner officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
