Gerald L. “Jerry” Sanders 62, Macy, (Nyona Lake) Indiana, passed away at 4:00 P.M. Thursday May 26, 2016 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana.

He was born on January 2, 1954 in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of George and Lois (Campbell) Sanders. He was a 1972 graduate of Haworth High School in Kokomo, Indiana and had been a self- employed painting contractor.  He had attended Mill Creek Missionary Church in Rochester, Indiana. In his spare time he enjoyed researching and creating American Indian Cultural items, fishing and playing his guitar.

Survivors include his brothers, Tom and wife Linda Sanders, Windom, Minnesota, George and wife Cynthia Sanders, Magnolia, Texas, sisters, Robin Elaine Sanders, Sharpsville, Indiana, Willow Radcliff and partner Laura, Spencer, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
