Frances M. Bailey, 86, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 3:30 A.M. Saturday, November 25, 2017, Rochester, Indiana.

She was born on April 6, 1931 in Rochester, Indiana, the daughter of Lovell and Sophie Mae (Fox) Porter. She was the former wife of James David Bailey Sr.

Frances retired from lab work at Torx, now Acument Global Technologies, Rochester.

Fran enjoyed collecting pottery, antiques and gardening. She loved having coffee with her friends and dearly loved her Springer Spaniel “Shadow”.

Survivors include her daughter, Edith Kay Hankee, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Benjamin Anthony Bailey, Buffalo, New York, Jennifer Collen Hankee, Chicago, Illinois, Jill Christine Hankee, Chicago, Illinois and brother, Lowell Porter, Peoria, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James David Bailey II,  grandson, James David Bailey III, and brother Bob Porter.

Services will be announced at a later date. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Arrangements are being handled by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
