Don Lee “Post” Fenstermaker 62, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 5:26 A.M. Saturday April 29, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.

He was born on August 24, 1954 in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Donnie L. and Joanne M. (Armstrong) Fenstermaker. On October 5, 1996 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, he married Annette (Rhodes) Zehner and she survives.

Mr. Fenstermaker had been an insurance agent for Family Heritage Insurance for many years. He had been a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Fenstermaker, Rochester, Indiana, children, Kylee Fenstermaker, Rochester, Indiana, Caleb Fenstermaker, Rochester, Indiana,, Taylor Fenstermaker, Rochester, Indiana, Matthew and wife Brittany Zehner, Bremen, Indiana, Joshua and wife Candace Zehner, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Alayna Carpenter, David Zehner, Malcolm Zehner, Hadley Zehner, all of Rochester, Indiana and Athena Zehner, Bremen, Indiana, mother, Joanne Phelan and companion Bob Farrell, Orland Park, Illinois, sisters, Nancy J. and husband William “Bill” Jacoby, Hickory Hills, Illinois, Lori Biernacki, Hickory Hills, Illinois, brother, William L. “Bill” and wife Clara Fenstermaker, Zimmerman, Minnesota, sister-in-laws, Colleen and husband Rich Wagoner, Rochester, Indiana, Marcia Heishmann, Lafayette, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, sisters, Rose Mary Fenstermaker, Barbara Fenstermaker, and step-father, Grant Phelan.

A church service in memory of Don Fenstermaker will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Friday May 5, 2017 at Faith Outreach Center, Rochester, Indiana, where friends may visit one hour prior to service. There will be a time for friendship and refreshments following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Don L.
