David L. Conover 56, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 5:30 A.M. Tuesday July 11, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on May 25, 1961 in Crown Point, Indiana, the son of Adrian and Hazel Irene (Waltz) Conover. On January 27, 1980 in Rochester, Indiana, he married Penny A. Becker and she survives.

Mr. Conover had previously worked for McMahan- O’Connor Construction, Quality Quick Lube and at Topps Safety Apparel all of Rochester. He enjoyed raising Rottweilers, hunting, fishing, gardening, go-karts, working as a mechanic, was an expert at smoking holiday hams and other meats and spending time on his A.T.V.

Survivors include his wife, Penny A. Conover, Rochester, Indiana, son, Bradley Conover, Goshen, Indiana, mother, Hazel Irene Montague, Cape Coral, Florida, brother, Pete Conover, Cedar Lake, Indiana, his canine companions, Cooper and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Mark Conover.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 15, 2017 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana, with Pastor Jerry Pittman officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, Indiana.
