Connie S. Scharnhorst 65, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 1:40 P.M. Monday April 10, 2017 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

She was born on January 16, 1952 in Linton, Indiana, the daughter of Roy Lee and Marquitta (Darr) Foster. On October 23, 1999 in Rochester, Indiana, she married Rick Scharnhorst. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2001.

Connie had worked at Life Care Center for many years and had worked for Margarita’s Restaurant. She had also been a caregiver for her grandmother, Pauline Easter, for many years. She had attended New Life Church, Antioch Baptist Church, had been a member of the Eagles Lodge, moose Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her mother, Marquitta McLochlin, Rochester, Indiana, aunt, Marilyn Kiesling, Logansport, Indiana, and had grew up with her cousins, Pam and Dennis Grogg. She was preceded by her father, and brothers, Tom Foster and Patrick McLochlin.
