Alice Monesmith 91, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 8:05 P.M. Thursday February 23, 2017 at Millers’ Merry Manor, Logansport, Indiana.

She was born on February 7, 1926 in Huntsville, Tennessee, the daughter of Lee and Amy (Cross) Trammell. On April 17, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio she married Oscar A. Monesmith. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1985.

Mrs. Monesmith had worked at T.M. Morris had worked at T.M. Morris Corp. and attended the Fulton Baptist Temple. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Survivors include her nephew, Eugene D. Peters, Chiefland, Florida and close friends, Kenny and Vickie Eytcheson, Fulton, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her brother and two sisters.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Monday February 27, 2017 at the Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
